Overview

The EL1500C-P is a transmitter/receiver set consisting of the ER1500C and the ET1500C. These environmentally hardened products provide 10/100 Ethernet and Power Over Ethernet (PoE) at distances of up to 500m over RG-59 or RG-6 coaxial cabling.

At the head end, the ER1500C will connect to the LAN switch for data and request IEEE802.af PoE power. For non-PoE switches, power can be injected at the head end with an optional PS48 power supply. At the far end, the coax will terminate at the ET1500C which will provide 10/100 Ethernet connectivity and available power at that distance. For higher power requirements, power can be re-injected at the power port of the ET1500C with an optional PS48.
